Abstract This paper describes an indoor location recognition device and method based on robot. The includes a computer Raspberry Pi, lidar, CMOS camera, ultrasonic sensor, first microcontroller, servo motor; the lidar is connected to Pi. Perform up down scanning distance between ground ceiling respectively, obtain height room; camera sends instruction control take pictures objects places use them Opencv other related technologies achieve purpose identification. can continuously identify locations under various complex conditions, at same time improve accuracy reliability recognition.
